Sometimes’s what’s holding you back from being wealthy is not how much of an effort you put in your marketing, product development or pricing strategy but your money mindset. If you feel you don’t have what it takes to succeed or you don’t deserve to make money or any other effed up excuse you make in your mind with regards to money, it will all show up in some form or other in your life. Maybe you won’t make as many sales as you want, or your clients won’t pay on time or no matter how much effort you’ll put in, you won’t see the money coming in.
“The single most powerful asset we have is our mind. If trained well, it can create enormous wealth.” – Robert Kiyosaki
Here are few of my favorite books that would help you create a healthy mindset towards money, improve your finances and help you in self-development.
Best Books To Improve Your Money Mindset
Rich Dad Poor Dad was one of the first books I had read from the Robert Kiyosaki’s book series. The book talks about the lessons Robert Kiyosaki learned from his two dads that he likes to refer to as the Rich Dad and the Poor Dad. His own dad, the poor dad was not good with money and always struggled with finances whereas his best friend’s dad the rich dad was rich, successful and well versed in finances. In this book, he teaches the lessons he learned growing up.
Robert Kiyosaki recently launched an updated version of Rich Dad Poor Dad where he gives a little more insight and background about how he came about writing the book, update on what he’s seen in the last 20 years and more. You can grab your copy of the book here.
I also have a PDF copy of the old version if you like, that you can download from here.
The Richest Man In Babylon is a book that shares the secrets of the ancient men on making and keeping more money. I came across the book when I was reading #Girlboss by Sophia Amoruso. Arkad a wealthy character in the book shares lessons of wealth and building habits to become financially stable. These lessons will help you build a firm financial foundation and take you on the way of becoming a rich and wealthy person.

A tiny book full of treasures and a must read. Hafid, an old businessman who passes on his wisdom of becoming the greatest salesman in the world in form of 10 scrolls. Written in the ancient times, the book incorporates mythology with spirituality into a much-needed message of inspiration for today’s time.

I came across Kathrin Zenkina through her facebook group, Manifestation Babes. I was feeling lost and having closed one of my business, I was looking for more, what I didn’t know. That’s when I was introduced to the book Unleash Your Inner Money Babe. I must admit, I was a little skeptical at first but when I started reading, it changed not only my mindset towards money but also life in general. The book takes you on a 21 days journey with small tasks for each day. My suggestion would be, even if you don’t read any of the books mentioned in this blog, just grab this one. It’s a definite game changer.
I love Jen’s writing. You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life was her first book I read and absolutely adored it. This book is same, she’s hilarious, kicks your arse and helps you change your mindset in the most entertaining way.

This book will give you insights on how to cultivate the qualities that every fearless and fabulous woman possesses along with powerful strategies to help you overcome fear, kick it to the curb and live an extraordinary life.
We all know and have heard of Tony Robbins. From his documentary “I’m not your Guru” to his events, books, and videos, he’s been a great influencer. Awaken The Giant Within gives you steps and insight on how to take immediate control of your life – physically, emotionally, mentally and financially. He talks about setting goals and achieving them with effective strategies and techniques.
Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body. The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you can go.
